Board members approved the petition, labeled 25-32 on the agenda, by a 4-0 vote after hearing testimony from the project’s construction and sign representatives and a staff report that said planning did not recommend approval. The board appended a finding that the proposed signage was proportional to the size of the three-story building and its distance from Broadway.
