The Greene County Council set a special meeting for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, to review and consider possible action on various county local income taxes, the council confirmed during its regular session.
Council President (first-name recorded as Brent) announced the special meeting after members discussed scheduling conflicts and local events that day. The council also agreed to move its regular October meeting to Monday, Oct. 20.
Council members discussed timing and availability before settling on 2 p.m. on Oct. 3. The stated purpose on the record was “review and possible action on various county local income taxes.” Council members noted the change so staff and the public could plan to participate.
