Rutherford County Schools staff requested that the board reallocate the remaining $355,664.30 from the La Verne Middle School Annex Project to the Simon Springs Community School Project in Fund 189 of the district building program.
Staff said the transfer would move unspent money from one project to the other to address overages and to enable both projects to be closed out. Staff indicated the request had been passed by the board last year but did not make it to the county commission for final administrative action; the current request was presented to clean up project accounting and close both projects.
