County appoints Amanda Lemay of Holiday Inn to tourism advisory board

Scotts Bluff County commissioners appointed Amanda Lemay, a Holiday Inn Express manager, to a vacant hotelier seat on the county tourism advisory board following the advisory board's recommendation.
Lana Hubbard, who reported the tourism board's recommendation, said the advisory committee interviewed two applicants and voted to recommend Lemay. Amanda Lemay told the commissioners she has worked at the Holiday Inn Express since February 2014, first in food and beverage and more recently as director of sales and front office manager. "I love the hospitality business," she said.
Board action: The board moved to accept the tourism board's recommendation and appoint Amanda Lemay; the motion was seconded and carried with three yes votes recorded.
Ending: Lemay will join the tourism advisory board in the hotelier seat; the county clerk will complete appointment paperwork and update the board roster.
