The runway rehabilitation at Hendricks County Airport was awarded to Milestone Contractors LLC for a base amount of $4,552,418.56 with a 10% construction reserve of $455,241.86, bringing the project total to $5,007,660.42. Authority staff told the board the work is essentially a near full-depth reconstruction of pavements that are about 25–26 years old. Staff said the project is expected to receive up to 95% federal funding; final grant confirmation was described as pending.
The board approved a three-year contract, with two one-year renewal options, to Camacho Equipment and Janitorial Supply Inc. for terminal janitorial services. The initial year cost cited in the board packet is $2,197,935.42 with a 2% annual increase. Staff said Camacho has served the authority since February 2008 and employs 36 full-time staff…
