The Pittsburg County Economic Development Authority unanimously approved its Sept. 2, 2025 meeting agenda, the minutes from the Aug. 25, 2025 regular meeting and the authority’s claims and fiscal transactions at a meeting held at 10:30 a.m. in the County Commissioners Conference Room at the Pittsburg County Courthouse in McAlester.
Chairman Charlie Rogers called the meeting to order. Vice-Chairman Ross Selman moved to approve the agenda; Trustee Mike Haynes seconded. The motion passed with Rogers, Selman and Haynes voting "aye" and none voting "nay." The minutes of the Aug. 25 regular meeting were then read; Selman moved to approve the minutes and Rogers seconded. That motion also passed unanimously.
Rogers moved to acknowledge and approve all claims and fiscal transactions issued by the Economic Development Authority and approved by the Board of County Commissioners; Haynes seconded. The motion passed, 3-0.
The minutes record no unfinished business (item 6), no agenda items under item 7, and no new business under item 8. Rogers then moved to adjourn; Selman seconded. The motion passed and the meeting was adjourned.
The authority’s agenda and meeting notice were posted at 8:55 a.m. on Aug. 29, 2025 in accordance with the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act (25 O.S. Sec. 301 et seq.).
