Michelle Wurster, housing analyst, reported that the city received $707,089 in CDBG funds for program year 2024; those funds supported public services that assisted 1,552 individuals, owner‑occupied housing rehabilitation for four low‑income households, and capital improvements such as interior pool house upgrades at Johnson Pool. The resolution approving the CAPER (No. 25‑300) was adopted by unanimous vote.
Consent and other items: The council approved the consent calendar (items 3–13) with item 12 (building code) pulled for separate action. Routine items included contracting, administrative approvals and notifications; no contested items were left unresolved.
