Englewood City schedules public hearings, budget and contract items for September–October meetings

Englewood City officials on Sept. 10 reviewed and scheduled multiple public hearings, budget items, contracts and grant acceptances for meetings set Sept. 15, Sept. 22, Oct. 6 and Oct. 13.
The meeting, convened as the mayor–manager session, placed front and center a proposed update to the storm drainage criteria manual and city code section 12.5.9; planned contract approvals for facility and utility work; and several budget and grant items that city staff said will require public hearings or separate council consideration.
City Manager Sean Lewis presented a list of items slated for the Sept. 15 meeting, including the storm drainage manual and code update, a judge’s salary discussion, recognition of South Broadway revitalization volunteers, introduction of a new traffic engineering manager, a contract with RhinoTrax Construction for service center space improvements, a construction contract with GH Phipps for work at the Allen plant, and renewal of the on-call contract for water infrastructure repairs. Lewis also identified parks and recreation bond project contract approvals for work at Bellevue and Emerson locations as part of bond-related projects.
