Board approves consent agenda, reappoints two budget committee members and nominates chair to OSBA panel — all votes unanimous

The North Clackamas School District Board of Directors on Thursday took several routine governance actions, each passing unanimously.

The board approved the consent agenda on a motion moved by Director McVeigh and seconded by Director Wachter; the chair called the vote and the motion passed 7–0.

The board declared budget committee position 9 vacant, then reappointed Angeline Hill to position 9. The motion to declare the position vacant was moved by Director McVeigh and seconded by Director Wachter and passed 7–0. The motion to reappoint Angeline Hill to position 9 was moved by Director Wachter, seconded by Director Dobson, and passed 7–0.

The board declared budget committee position 12 vacant, then reappointed Nicole Woodfill to position 12. The motion to declare position 12 vacant was moved by Director McVeigh and seconded by Director Dobson and passed 7–0. The motion to reappoint Nicole Woodfill to position 12 was moved by Director Dobson and seconded by Director Olsen and passed 7–0. Board staff noted both committee members were first appointed in 2022 and completed their first terms.

The board also nominated Chair Gina Benaloga as the district’s candidate to serve on the Oregon School Boards Association Legislative Policy Committee (Clackamas Region). A motion to nominate Chair Benaloga was moved and seconded and carried 7–0.

All formal motions and vote tallies recorded in the meeting packet were unanimous in favor; no motions failed, were tabled, or were amended during Thursday’s session.
