Emery fire officials report ISO inspection results, training plans and equipment needs; council considers disposing old hoses

Training plans were also described: EAGS driver-simulator training and a cone course set for Sept. 20 in Huntington; Carbon County regional events were also noted. The department said it has received grants and scholarship support for regional training and for attendance at the Utah League of Cities and Towns conference.
There were no formal votes tied to equipment disposition or training at the meeting; council members encouraged staff to pursue grants and training opportunities.
