Transportation director: two new buses expected in Lubbock; ongoing Ranger warranty issue

The transportation director said the district has identified that the manufacturer no longer produces a particular older bus model and that about 11 units will need eventual replacement; the director provided an estimated $1,200 per unit cost to address immediate needs on some units.
