“We did submit them,” Dr. Veena Houck said, summarizing the federal programs submissions and the intended allocations. She also announced that "Doctor Mittsall" (hired administrator) is expected to start Monday.
Technology and facilities updates
District technology staff and trustees discussed smart boards and their life cycle. A technology staff member, Mr. Boyer, described efforts to extend smart-board usefulness by replacing a small, replaceable module rather than the entire board, which the district estimated could cost roughly $150 for a replaceable module versus $4,500 for a full replacement.
