Talbot County school board approves consent agenda, selects CoreBridge as 403(b) provider and ratifies personnel report

The selection of CoreBridge as the district 403(b) provider followed a review by a committee that evaluated proposals. The board moved and seconded the motion to approve CoreBridge and approved it by voice vote.
The personnel report was presented by the district representative who said the report should be approved as discussed in closed session; a board member moved approval and the board voted in favor by voice vote. The personnel items were not read aloud on the public record; the superintendent asked the board to approve the personnel report “as discussed in the closed session.”

What the board said
