Scott County Board approves organizational appointments, nursing-services agreement and bonuses; identifies potential historical monument site

The Scott County Board of Education took several consent and organizational actions during its meeting, approving appointments, a nursing-services agreement and a bonus payment and identifying a potential historical monument site.

Under board policy 14200, the board completed organization and recorded a roll-call affirmation that resulted in Lou Stanley serving as board chair for the organizing meeting. The board also moved to appoint a board representative to serve as the district liaison for the Tennessee School Boards Association delegate assembly; the board is eligible to appoint up to three voting delegates to that assembly. The board approved appointments to a disciplinary hearing authority, noting the authority will consist of seven members with at least two licensed employees.
