Enid Public Schools trustees on Monday approved several personnel, partnership and funding items during a regularly scheduled board meeting.
The board unanimously approved a motion to pay classroom employees who have submitted documentation for emergency or pending certification on the district’s adjunct pay scale until the State Department of Education finalizes their certifications. Superintendent Dudley Darrow told the board the State Department canceled an August certification meeting, delaying approvals; he said the district sought the adjunct-scale payment so affected employees would not suffer financially while the state processes applications. “This is through no fault of their own.
