Staff reports steady progress on Daggett County water treatment plant; installation pending building completion

Daggett County Municipal Building Authority staff on Sept. 16 reported that construction of the county water treatment plant is progressing and that major treatment media are on site, but that recent weather has slowed exterior roofing work.
During the meeting, a board member asked staff for a status update on the water treatment plant. Trevor, a staff member, said crews have slowed roof work to avoid wetting insulation and that contractors have moved to interior trim work in the meantime. "Things are going fairly good. Weather has slowed down a little bit of the building project simply because they're ready to roll roof, and they don't want insulation getting wet," Trevor said. He added that "we got our gap media delivered last week, so I think everything's on-site now that's needed for the most part," and that once the building is finished the system installation should follow.
The update was provided as part of routine project reports; no formal action was taken on the water treatment plant at the Sept. 16 meeting.
