Council approves preliminary/final plat for West K Place lot; engineering and detention issues to be finalized

City staff and the applicant told council the proposed lot would replace two small office-warehouse buildings and add additional landscaping. Staff said prior engineering had been conceptual and the city is awaiting final engineering and hydrology to determine whether two existing detention areas will be required or can be removed because recent storm-sewer work may have changed drainage needs.
