At the end of its Sept. 9 meeting, the Millis Planning Board approved the minutes of its Aug. 5 meeting, discussed a planned purchase of bylaw‑digitization software and set upcoming meeting dates.
Planning staff reported that Nicole presented a software package to the Select Board for digitizing the zoning bylaws, general bylaws and home rule charter. The purchase price is $16,500; the Community Preservation Committee (CPC) threshold is $20,000, so the purchase does not require CPC review. Staff said the next step will be to present the item to the Finance Committee and to place it on a warrant if the town proceeds.
The board voted to approve the Aug. 5 minutes as drafted and confirmed the next regular meeting on Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m., and a November meeting was set for Nov. 18. The board also discussed the draft decision for 13 Environmental Drive (the T‑Mobile/Crown Castle application) and asked staff to finalize that decision after the conditions agreed at the meeting.
The meeting adjourned after the administrative items were settled.
