Board agent Ed said the catering business is established and will use The Eagles’ kitchen; because the applicant has not yet moved in the board will complete an inspection once the space is occupied. “We haven't done an inspection yet because they haven't moved in, so it would be pending an inspection,” Ed said.
A board member noted the town routinely inspects both bar/sales areas and the kitchen when separate operators use The Eagles’ facility. The motion approved the permit conditional on Ed completing the inspection; the vote was unanimous.
Why it matters: the conditional approval allows the caterer to proceed with plans to operate at The Eagles once the required on‑site inspection confirms the kitchen meets food‑safety standards.
