(Motion and second recorded; license approved.) - Todd Angeli — approved one‑day common victualer and entertainment license for a motorcycle run fundraiser at 649 Squire Road on Saturday, Oct. 18, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.; applicant said food trucks will register with the Board of Health and no alcohol will be sold. Expected attendance was discussed; one panelist cited as 400 but applicant said he did not expect that many riders. (Motion and second recorded; license approved.) - Cold Wind Management Inc., Holiday Inn Express Revere — approved change of manager from Cynthia Basic to Desiree Giuliano (manager of record). Continued / Rescheduled - Ocean King Inc., d/b/a Ocean King, 320 Revere Beach Boulevard — application for an all‑alcohol restaurant license continued to the commission’s next meeting; commissioners asked the proposed manager to obtain TIP or equivalent alcohol‑service certification and return with proof before the commission will consider final approval. Construction and renovations may proceed while licensing is pending. - An entertainment amendment for a karaoke/entertainment venue (owner absent) was rescheduled to the commission’s next available meeting (third Wednesday in October) to allow the owner to appear and respond to prior complaints about music volume and neighborhood impacts.
Communications and adjournment The commission also acknowledged routine communications from the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission (quota report and annual retail license renewals) and notifications of ABCC approvals for two other local businesses. The meeting adjourned; the commission set its next meeting for Oct. 15.
