Quincy Board approves event and business license requests; minutes accepted

The commissioners also approved a garage repair license for Naya Automotive Services at 664 R Washington Street following a change in ownership (formerly Costi’s Auto Repair) and a transfer of an off-premises all-alcohol package store license to FAM Management LLC doing business as Hancock Liquors at 229 Quincy Avenue.
Each of those items was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The board also voted to accept the minutes of the Aug. 12 hearing and waived the reading.
