The Royce City Planning Commission on Sept. 9 unanimously approved the Aug. 12, 2025 regular meeting minutes by voice vote.
Staff updated commissioners that two alternate planning-commission positions remain open; the planning department received four applications and staff expects to meet with the mayor about appointments and take a ratification item to the city council.
Staff also raised scheduling for the Nov. 11 meeting, which falls on Veterans Day; commissioners discussed options for moving agenda items to October or December or holding a special meeting. The planner offered to ask the applicant who preferred November whether they could submit materials earlier so the item could be considered in October.
A motion to adjourn was made, seconded and passed by unanimous voice vote.
