The City of Quincy Board of License Commissioners approved temporary extensions of premises for The Fords at 15 Carter and Viva Trattoria at 1500 Hancock Street to allow outdoor patio service on Sunday, Sept. 21 during Coverpalooza at Kilroy Square from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Mark Carey, representing the event coordination with Quincy 400 and the mayor’s office, presented the application and confirmed an application was on file. Board members asked if there were any concerns; none were raised and a motion to approve the temporary extensions carried by voice vote.
The board record notes the extensions are specific to Coverpalooza on Sept. 21 and that event logistics were coordinated with the mayor’s representative and Quincy 400. No additional permit conditions or roll-call vote counts were announced during the hearing.
