Jim Gambino, representing the organizer, described planned activities including a blow-up slide from Busy Bee Jumpers, a touch-a-truck exhibit with Quincy Police and Fire departments, two food trucks each day, one ice cream truck, face painting and live solo performers (Jim Gambino said Oct. 5 would feature Jim Gambino and Oct. 12 would feature Matt Demo as solo performers). The applicant mentioned Drifter's Kitchen and Bar (owners Will Folaro and Andrew Moshe) as the proposed alcohol vendor; organizers said bartenders will be tip-certified.
A board member noted food trucks must obtain fire-department permits; Gambino said it was his understanding that vendors' certificates were up to date but that he would double-check.
