Council approved appointing the county administrator as the alternate representative to the nine-county authority (3 Rivers Solid Waste Authority); the council’s vice chairman briefly described the authority and said a new landfill project (estimated at roughly $26 million in remarks) will be financed and may require a supporting resolution in the near term.
One-year agreement with Clearwater Solutions (water and sewer operations) Outcome: Approved. Council authorized a one-year operating agreement with Clearwater Solutions to provide professional services for water distribution and sewer collection.
