Planning staff told the Planning and Zoning Commission that the Board of Supervisors approved several items the commission had earlier recommended.
Staff reported the board approved SUP25-03, a special-use permit requested by Larry Wilson to create a private airstrip on a portion of his land. Staff also reported the board approved REZ938-25, a request by Lane Jensen to rezone to RR (rural residential) to split a parcel for a half-acre home site; REZ939-25, a request by Clyde and Paula England to rezone to match current use (staff reading contained the word "Centimeters" which appears to be a transcription error); and RZ940-25, a request by Shawna Taylor to rezone a 5.5-acre portion along Highway 191 to a commercial/manufacturing category to build storage units.
Staff said the board also approved three road names: Holden Street (Central), Quartz Ridge Road (south of town intersecting Swift Trail Road and Dakota) and Bombs Away (off Central Road). Staff indicated these items were completed at the board level and no further action by the commission was required on those items.
The staff report was informational; no formal action by the commission on these previously approved Board items was recorded.
