The amendment was introduced by staff and approved by a 4‑0 roll call vote. "The proposed code amendment allows childcare facility in home as a permitted use within the RR‑1, RR‑2, R‑1, R‑2, R‑3, business, rural neighborhood commercial, urban neighborhood commercial and retail business districts," Planning staff member Chris French said during the meeting.
