The Montgomery County Board of Commissioners approved its consent agenda during the Sept. 16 regular session, accepting routine administrative items including minutes, a budget amendment, a tax refund, event permits and appointments.
The consent agenda included the Aug. 14 work-session minutes and Aug. 19 regular-session minutes; Budget Amendment No. 1 for addendum 117 for public-health infrastructure; a tax refund to Viet Farm in the amount of $5,637.45 for tax year 2023; fireworks permits for the Bisco Festival in the Park and a private wedding event at Baden Lake; and the appointment of Cletus Spivey and David Vandeveer to the Bisco planning and zoning board as ETJ members. The registered deeds report was also included.
A county staff member presented the consent items and asked for approval. A motion to adopt the consent agenda was made and seconded; the board voted to approve the items with no further discussion recorded in the meeting minutes.
Items approved on the consent agenda will be filed or implemented according to normal county procedure; the appointment of Cletus Spivey and David Vandeveer places them on the planning and zoning board as extraterritorial-jurisdiction (ETJ) members.
