Separately, staff updated the board on Drainage District 60 Sub 4, saying cleanup had been completed as agreed by both parties and that a settlement breach had occurred between parties; staff said the matter likely would not return to the boardroom. Staff also discussed another drainage concern involving a creek and an outlet (D 45), noting the parties had been advised the issue would likely be a civil matter rather than a county drainage repair.
The board directed staff and the responsible supervisors to continue necessary coordination for repairs and to check outstanding compensation/warrants associated with past crop‑damage and settlement payments. No further board action was recorded in open session during the update.
