The Wright County Board of Supervisors confirmed several personnel actions Sept. 15, including appointments and promotions in the sheriff’s office and county jail.
The board formally appointed Sheila Cordero as jail administrator and Kristen Henninger as assistant jail administrator. The two had received promotions and salary adjustments at a prior meeting; the board recorded the appointments by voice vote.
Separately the board approved promotions within the Wright County Sheriff’s Office: appointment of Tony (last name recorded earlier in minutes as an appointed lieutenant) and Piasco (last name unclear) to lieutenant and Adam Nierland to deputy, and earlier appointments of Tony Reed and Adam Fennons (engineer references appear elsewhere) were noted in the minutes. The record shows motions to appoint these positions and that motions carried.
The board also approved the appointment of Nora Alt Poundstein (name per transcript) as a medical examiner investigator for John Evenson (presumably the county medical examiner). These personnel actions were approved by motion and recorded as carried.
The minutes indicate salary increases for the jail administrative promotions: a $2,000 increase for Sheila Cordero and a $2,000 increase for Kristen Henninger; the board noted the prior approval of those salary adjustments when confirming the appointments.
