The sheriff described trade-in logistics: photos and VINs are provided to bidders, and trade-in values vary with market conditions and mileage. For the vehicle being traded in he estimated mileage near 160,000–170,000 and cited recent trade-in quotes in the low thousands; he also noted used-vehicle values were higher during the COVID period.
