Summary
The board approved awarding design services for the Rubin Drive sanitary pump station replacement to Clark Dietz, the low proposer with prior pump station experience; funding comes from the approved CIP.
The Board of Public Works approved a consulting contract on Sept. 18 with Clark Dietz for design services for the Rubin Drive sanitary pump station replacement.
Staff said they solicited proposals from five firms and recommended Clark Dietz as the low proposer; staff noted Clark Dietz has done prior pump station design work. Board members confirmed the design work will be incorporated into the project cost and that the work is part of the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) the board previously approved.
A motion to approve the selection carried unanimously.
