Report items: The Office of the State Architect reported routine administrative actions for commission acceptance. The report items the office listed included 13 change orders; one capital improvement project with a total project cost under $100,000; three capital projects with total project cost between $100,000 and $1,000,000; one revision in funding for a capital project with no change in the total project budget; eight designer additional-services requests; and the quarterly report of the advisory board for the Metro Nashville District Energy System made in accordance with SBC bylaws and procedures. The commission accepted the reporting.
Other actions: The commission also approved several separate project items during the meeting—approvals for a Carwell Mountain State Archaeological Park scope revision and early design phase, Tennessee Tech University’s early design phase for a new Advanced Construction and Manufacturing Engineering Building, Department of Safety authorization to use Motorola to complete Phase 3 of the Tennessee Advanced Communications Network, and a Department of General Services early design approval and scope revision to add monument relocation for a new Tennessee Highway Patrol headquarters building.
