The Crossville Beer Board approved four retail beer permits and agreed to add a second licensed location for nonprofit Downtown Crossville Inc. during a short session at City Hall.
Board members voted, by voice, to approve applications for Club 1660, Wagers, Jimmy’s Market and Sandbakers Steakhouse. Board members also approved a modification to Downtown Crossville Inc.’s existing permit to accept an additional location at 72 South Main Street.
Board members made motions, received seconds and recorded “aye” votes on each item; no members registered opposition on the recorded voice votes and each motion carried. No formal roll-call vote or individual vote tallies were recorded in the meeting minutes for the beer-board items.
Jimmy’s Market’s application was discussed briefly to confirm its location; a board member identified the site as near Greenbrier at 13 Nineties. The downtown nonprofit’s request was described by the board as a modification because its license currently covers other locations and the board must approve any additional licensed sites.
The board completed its agenda and adjourned after the approvals.
