El Mirage introduces Community Partnership Administrator Reagan Jepsen; announces Oct. 18 domestic violence awareness walk

Deputy City Manager Robert Nilles introduced Reagan Jepsen at the Sept. 16 El Mirage council meeting as the city's new Community Partnership Administrator. Jepsen joined the city a month earlier and will coordinate housing, family and human services programs, including the El Mirage Cares initiative.
"This is my first council meeting, so I'm very excited to be here," Reagan Jepsen said, adding that she will help oversee the city's housing and social services efforts and staff community events.
Jepsen announced one of the program's early events: a Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Walk and Resource Fair scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18. Staff said registration is open and flyers will be shared with council and the public.
Nilles described Jepsen's background as including work at the city of Buckeye attorney's office and the League of Arizona Cities and Towns; Jepsen holds a master's degree in public administration from Arizona State University and a bachelor's degree in public health.
Council members welcomed Jepsen and encouraged outreach to ensure community participation in the October event.
