Planning Commission continuances, consent items and minutes approved; several routine votes pass unanimously

The San Francisco Planning Commission met Sept. 18, 2025, and approved a set of routine procedural items including continuances, consent calendar items and minutes by unanimous roll-call votes.

Commissioners voted to continue two items: case number 2025-006246 (planning code amendments related to family dwelling unit definitions) to Oct. 2, 2025, and case number 2025-005989 (North Beach MAP consolidating special use and neighborhood commercial districts) for one week to Sept. 25, 2025. The commission then approved the consent calendar, which included several conditional use authorizations and initiation of a code corrections ordinance for scheduling adoption on or after Oct. 8, 2025. The panel also adopted draft minutes for its July 31, 2025 meeting.

The motions on continuances and the consent calendar passed on unanimous roll calls. The chair announced each vote as passing unanimously; roll-call readouts recorded ayes from the attending commissioners. No members of the public asked to pull consent items for separate consideration during the hearing.

These procedural approvals set the calendar and allowed the commission to move to its regular agenda.
