Council adopts ordinance to add student representative to Sustainability and Resiliency board

The City of Plantation City Council on Sept. 17 adopted an ordinance amending the city code to add a student representative to the Sustainability and Resiliency Advisory Board.
City Attorney Ezro read the ordinance on second reading. Council member Fadgen asked whether home‑schooled students would be eligible; staff confirmed the ordinance language had been broadened to allow any eligible Plantation student (not limited to Plantation schools) to serve. The council voted in favor of the ordinance on second reading by roll call.
