The resolutions passed unanimously on roll-call votes, following staff testimony that the application met city code standards and that the developer had addressed drainage, fencing and lighting in response to neighbor concerns. Nectaria Chakaas, land-use counsel for AutoNation, described the proposal to commissioners and asked for approval: "We respectfully request your approval of the site plan amendment," she said.
