The Olympia City Council on Sept. 9 accepted the revised Public Participation and Partners chapter of the Olympia 2045 Comprehensive Plan and directed staff to continue final edits. Senior Planner David Ginther reviewed the chapter’s development timeline, public outreach results and substantive edits made in response to public and commission comments.
Ginther said the outreach included an online survey (about 95 respondents), open houses, committee and commission reviews and a public hearing. He highlighted three themes that guided edits:…
