Carson City Library reports staff changes, grants for Spanish digital collection and circulation desk upgrade

Director Joy Holt announced several internal hires and promotions: Susan Oliver was promoted to senior library assistant, Alicia Whipple was promoted to library services manager and the library filled a library assistant position from a part-time hire from another system. Holt said one library assistant position and one librarian position remain open, and interviews for a workforce development and social services coordinator will take place next week.
