A prepared draft policy was provided to members for consideration.
A member moved to approve the policy and a second was recorded. The committee then took a roll-call vote that produced eight ayes and zero nos; the chair announced: "Thank you. The motion passes."
The adoption means the committee has an updated written policy on remote participation to reflect the statutory changes described to members. Committee leaders did not, during the discussion recorded in the transcript, specify a named effective date for the newly adopted policy.
The committee immediately returned to other business after the vote.
