Council action came after residents and council members raised concerns that an existing retaining wall adjacent to a private stormwater detention area has shifted and allowed silt to move downstream toward Lake Colchester. The plat, part of the Hackney Hills planned unit development, covers 68 townhomes and includes one public street (Walsh Avenue) and several private streets and outlots intended for future development.
