The Eau Claire County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution authorizing a 2025 budget amendment to record grant awards, donations and other revenue the county received in 2025. The board approved the resolution by a roll-call vote of 27 yes, 2 absent.
Supervisor Pagonis explained that the resolution is largely procedural: under the county’s revised Title 4, the finance director has authority to incorporate awarded grants into the budget without each award first appearing at the full board. Pagonis said the item formally records awards that have already been received and that the finance director will handle adding them to the county’s budget.
The motion on the resolution was made on the floor (motion recorded as by Supervisor Myron with a second by Supervisor Chilson in the meeting record) and, after a brief clarification, the board approved the resolution. Chair Coffey announced the recorded vote as 27 yes, 2 absent.
The resolution authorizes the finance director to process grant awards received in 2025 into the county budget under the delegation in the updated administrative code.
