The Redlands City Council on Sept. 16 approved multiple contracts and procedural items across public safety, public works and housing services. Most approvals passed unanimously by roll call.
Key approvals included:
- A one-year, not-to-exceed $300,000 homeless resource services and property-management agreement with Many Mansions for the Project Homekey site at 1675 Industrial Avenue, with two optional one-year renewals (total potential compensation $900,000). Council and staff said the contract will be funded from money already budgeted under the Project Homekey award. Rick Schroeder, president of Many Mansions, and executive director Doug Menges attended and answered council questions about on-site supervision and regional experience.
