Missouri City parks staff present consolidated staff manual, new professional development and maintenance standards

Miss Stewart, a parks department staff member, told the Missouri City Parks Board on Aug. 7 that the department has consolidated dozens of standalone policies into a single Parks and Recreation staff manual to standardize expectations and onboarding.
The manual combines existing code of conduct, vision, mission and values, attendance and break rules, dress and appearance guidance, technology-use rules and employee-benefit information, Miss Stewart said. She added the manual will support staff onboarding and the department’s CAPRA accreditation work.
