BROWNSBURG, Ind. — During the public‑comment period at the Sept. 11 Brownsburg Town Council meeting, several residents pressed the council for clearer written minutes, objected to a proposed warehouse rezoning in the Claremont Heights area and urged the council to honor advisory‑commission recommendations.
Minutes and record requests
David Wyant of P.O. Box 513 asked the council to table approval of the Aug. 28 meeting minutes until the minutes include additional “commitments” that speakers said were made during that meeting. Wyant said the video record shows commitments between roughly 13 minutes, 20 seconds and 28 minutes into the prior meeting and that those items are not in the printed minutes. He argued that the missing written items could hamper future reference by council members, staff and boards.
