Rockwall ISD forecasts student rolls to climb as housing pipeline expands, officials say

"I've been asked to provide an update on our demographic report looking at growth in the district," Dr. Villareal told the consortium, and he said the district currently anticipates serving "almost 19,400 students this year." He added the district's projection for 10 years out is about 23,519 students and that forecasts show "more than 20,000 students in '29, '30 and approximately 23,500 students in 2034 and '35."
