Staff reported July sales-tax receipts were up 14.49% year over year, with July totals reported at $179,709.18 and a year-to-date total reported as $1,849,145.53. Staff said the EDC budget should be at 83.33% of the fiscal year at this point and that collections stood at about 90.88%.
A motion to approve the financials and payables, including the $12,387.93 payment to the city, was made and seconded and carried. The board also approved the meeting minutes from Aug. 18 earlier in the meeting.
Ending: Staff noted sales-tax numbers were received late Friday and answered board questions; no changes to the EDC budget were made at the meeting.
