Bay County finds 338 Dusty Lane in compliance; magistrate accepts recommended fine provision

Bay County's special magistrate found the property at 338 Dusty Lane in compliance and accepted code enforcement's recommendation that an initial $700 fine plus statutory interest be imposed with standard lien language preserved should enforcement costs be recorded.
Investigator Tim Justice presented an investigative report and photographs from a May 15 compliance hearing showing appliances and other on-site trash. Justice said staff posted notices and made contact with a resident. He reported that by June 24 the property was found to be in compliance.
Code enforcement recommended the magistrate impose an initial $700 fine plus statutory interest and that any recorded costs of abatement be placed as a lien against the land in Bay County public records under Chapter 21 of the Bay County Code.
The magistrate accepted the recommendation, found the property in compliance with the cited violations, and closed code enforcement case 20242659.
