Hernandez said she comes from San Marcos, Texas, where she worked for almost 13 years and most recently served as the director. “I'm so excited to be here. I come to you with after working for the city of San Marcos, Texas for almost 13 years where I was most recently their director,” Hernandez said, and added that she and her husband “love the city” and that she looks forward to working with the community and commission.
The chair welcomed Hernandez and commissioners asked brief clarifying questions about her previous city; Hernandez said San Marcos is located between Austin and San Antonio.
The introduction was made during the staff comments portion of the agenda; no formal action was required.
